Diamond in the Community

Current Events

Diamond Staff Cook Up a Storm

Throughout the summer of 2008, Diamond Delivery held several customer appreciation neighbourhood barbeques within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Diamond staff put on their aprons and cooked up a storm, providing burgers, dogs, and friendly conversation to the staff and neighbours of their customers. Barbeque season has come to a close, but watch for our team to be in your neighbourhood beginning June 2009, and watch our promotions page for new exciting contests in the months to come

“Tulips for Tomorrow”

All throughout March and April, Diamond Delivery donated it’s time and services to helping Surrey Memorial Hospital reach they’re fundraising goal of $15 million to build a new emergency centre. Through their “Tulips for Tomorrow” campaign, Diamond Delivery drivers delivered tulip planters to various locations around Surrey, to help beautify the City. Diamond strongly believes in it’s community, and helping Surrey Memorial with their fundraising efforts is just another way we are doing our part to help Surrey blossom.

On top of that, Diamond also contributed to the “Adopt-a-Family” program which provided a fabulous Christmas for a single mother family with two children in need this year, with a collection of toys, clothing, food, and cash generously donated by Diamond staff, family, and friends.

We truly appreciate everyone’s efforts in making the holidays special for so many less fortunate people in our communities

We at Diamond Delivery have a heart for West Africa and its people. We invite you to join us in addressing a much neglected area of health care, because of a lack of experienced workers and specialized facilities. We are proud sponsors of a new hospital facility in Accra, capital of Ghana, the Korle-Bu Neuroscience Centre, dedicated to treating conditions affecting the brain and the spine. You too can help. Click on the link to Korle-Bu http://www.kbnf.org, go to www.6380.ca or phone 877-IOU-6380 to find out how. A show of heart from you will help heal brains and spines, allowing ordinary West African people to return to work.
